Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is the most common cancer of the lymphatic system, a part of the immune system. Since the early 1970's, incidence rates for NHL have nearly doubled. Over 65,000 cases of NHL are diagnosed annually in the United States. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is not a single disease, but rather a group of several closely related cancers.
